1. Add the following key dates to your timeline.
2. Add ONE additional date that you find during your History Study.

• 1807 – Britain outlaws the Atlantic slave trade
• 1833 – Britain passes the Abolition of Slavery Act, ordering gradual abolition of slavery in all British colonies.
• 1848 – France abolishes slavery
• 1863 – Abraham Lincoln passes Emancipation Proclamation freeing all slaves in US
• 1865 – 13th Amendment to US constitution bans slavery
• 1888 – Brazil abolishes slavery

3. History Study

1. Spend 60+ minutes researching researching the following topic during this time period.
